The Catalyst Center goal is achievement of the Healthy People 2010 and New Freedom Initiative aim of adequate health insurance and financing of care for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN).

Catalyst Center Objectives are: 

• Expanding health insurance coverage for CYSHCN,

• Closing the gaps faced by underinsured families,

• Enhancing funding for family-centered wrap-around services, and

• Assuring financing for the infrastructure required for comprehensive systems of care for CHSHCN at state and community levels.
